Syria participates in the ALECSO forum for business and partnerships held in Tunisia

With the participation of Syria, the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) forum was held in Tunisia with the aim of strengthening joint, Arab, regional and international work in the fields of education, culture, science, information and communication technology, increasing recognition of ALECSO and its efforts and signing partnership and cooperation agreements to implement a number of projects.

The Secretary General of the Syrian National Committee for Education, Science, and Culture, a member of the Executive Council of ALECSO, Dr. Nidal Hasan participated in the meeting.

Participants in the meeting stressed the importance of the (ALECSO) and the role of the forum as an opportunity to further learn about the work of Arab and international institutions whose work intersects with the work of ALECSO in the sectors of education, culture and science.

During the meeting, Arab and international experiences that succeeded in linking partnerships with sustainable development were reviewed. The participants also reviewed the technical partnership projects signed with the partners. They were also introduced to the future projects of ALECSO within the framework of its work plan 2023-2028.

The forum concluded by honoring the Secretaries-General of the Arab National Committees and members of the Executive Council, issuing the final statement, and announcing that the second edition of the ALECSO Forum for Business and Partnerships will be held in 2026.
