Syria participates in the 76th session of the UN General Assembly with a delegation headed by Miqdad

Damascus (ST): The Syrian Arab Republic is participating in the 76th session of the UN General Assembly with an official delegation headed by the Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Dr. Faisal Miqdad, where the General Assembly is scheduled to hold a general discussion on the issues and items on its agenda.

On the sidelines of the General Assembly, Minister Miqdad will hold a number of bilateral meetings with a number of foreign ministers and UN officials, and he will also participate in a number of activities and events that will be held within the framework of the work of the General Assembly.

The Minister will deliver the statement of the Syrian Arab Republic before the General Assembly on Monday, 27th of September, which will include Syria’s position on various issues and developments related to the situation in Syria and the region.
