Syria participates in the 4th CIIE

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ Syria takes part in the 4th China International Import Expo (CIIE), which kicked off on Thursday as virtual trade fair with the participation of ministers and officials representing the participating countries. 
 
CIIE mainly features six exhibitions: food and agricultural products, automobiles, general equipment, consumer goods, medical devices and healthcare products, and services industry. It aims at giving firm support to trade liberalization and economic globalization and actively open the Chinese market to the world. It facilitates countries and regions all over the world to strengthen economic cooperation and trade, and to promote global trade and world economic growth in order to make the world economy more open.
 
Syria will show olive oil and the products that are made of it , especially soap, which are wanted in the Chinese market.

The Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Mohammad Samer Al-Khalil represents Syria in the CIIE which will last until November 10, 2021.
