Syria Participates in the 48th International Charity Bazaar in Vienna

Vienna, (ST) – The 48th International Charity Annual Bazar was opened at the United Nations Center in Vienna with the participation of the Syrian Embassy and a large number of international organizations and diplomatic missions accredited. The revenues of the Bazar is allocated to charity works and children all over the world

The Syrian pavilion at the bazar witnessed a significant turnout and presence.

The pavilion included a variety of traditional handicrafts and textile industries, panels, plastic, posters, photographs and books show cultural and archaeological landmarks in Syria, in addition to some of the cuisine Syrian and sweets and delicacies that attracted the visitors and guests’attention who visited the Syrian pavilion.

Visitors of the Syrian pavilion expressed sympathy with Syria and its people under the difficult conditions experienced, stressing that the participation of Syria embodies the spirit of cooperation to contribute to the provision of assistance and support for the care of children and needy everywhere.

The countries participating in the international exhibit products, arts and folklore, , which show history and civilization, culture and tourist attractions, in addition to social and cultural aspect for each participating  country.

The official opening of the charity bazar was attended by large number of accredited ambassadors in Vienna as well as employees of international organizations at the United Nations headquarters and the representatives of the Austrian Foreign Ministry.
