Syria participates in the 38th Havana International Fair

Havana, (ST) – The 38th edition of the Havana International Fair was inaugurated in the Cuban capital, in the presence of Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, and 62 countries, including Syria.

In a speech at the opening of the exhibition, Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero condemned the illegal embargo imposed by the United States on Cuba. He pointed out that the large and wide participation in the Havana International Fair confirms the international community’s rejection of this embargo, and the confidence of investors, companies and participating banks in the capabilities of Cuba, which will rise in the face of difficulties.

The Syrian pavilion at the Havana Fair includes a presentation on the national investment map, which includes the opportunities available in the Syrian governorates.

The national investment map also includes the elements and advantages of investment in Syria under the new Investment Law No. 18 of 2021 that includes the procedural facilities, investment guarantees and rights of the investor, in addition to customs and tax incentives.
