Syria participates in the 2021 World Olympiad in Applied Physics

Students of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad participated Yesterday in the 2021 World Olympiad in Applied Physics competitions, which was held virtually  in Indonesia.

The Excellence and Creativity Commission explained in a statement that SANA received a copy of , that ten students from the national team of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad in the field of physics are participating in this Olympiad. The participants are Abdullah Al-Hosni from Damascus, Abdul Aziz Al-Jorabi from Aleppo, Ru’aa Al-Rifai from Damascus countryside, Hadi Salloum from Tartous, Ammar Yasser Rajab,  Muhammad Subhi Abu Radan and  Ammar Ali from Lattakia, Alaa Hussein from the National Center for Excellence, Reem Bakro from Aleppo, and Ellen Barakat from Damascus.

 The commission indicated that students participate from four examination centers distributed over the four governorates of Damascus, Lattakia, Aleppo and Tartous.The exams, which include high-level questions in physics, are to be held in two rounds, the first was on April 16 and the final will be held on April 23 and 24.

The results of the Olympiad will be announced on the 27th of this month.
