Syria participates in Sweets and Chocolate Industry exhibition in Dubai for the first time

DUBAI, Nov.7, (ST)- With Syria’s participation for the first time, the Sweets and Chocolate Industry exhibition began today in Dubai,

On the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the two-day exhibition, the head of the Damascus and its Countryside Chamber of Industry, Ghazwan Al-Masry, said in a press statement that the Syrian participation in this exhibition is the result of cooperation with the Authority of Supporting and Developing Local Production and Exports.

He underlined the importance of the Syrian presence in these international exhibitions, which are one of the most important marketing platforms for the Syrian food product and the possibility of concluding contracts with importers from all over the world.

Some  4 leading Syrian companies in the field of sweets and chocolate industry are taking part in the event with the aim of promoting these products due to their  importance and competitiveness in foreign markets.

The exhibition includes about 350 food companies specialized in the manufacture of chocolate, sweets and wafers from 30 Arab and foreign countries.
