Syria Participates in International Forum of Dialogue of Religions in Moscow

MOSCOW- The fourth international forum of Dialogue of religions opened its activities in Moscow under the title “The Religion and the Digital Society.”

SANA reported that a Syrian delegation, Representatives from different spectrum of 19 states and official figures, experts in religious affairs and digital technologies take part in the conference.

Grand Mufti of the Republic, Ahmad Badereddine Hassoun, said in a speech about the role of some Arab and western media in the war on Syria, calling for peace in the world, and keeping away from deforming the divine messages.

 The forum discusses means of confronting extremism in social media, and preventing the Youth from this ideology.  It also tackled ways of establishing charities and attracting young people to involve in social activities.
