Syria participates in Havana International Fair

The 37th session of Havana International Fair opened in the Cuban capital of Havana with the participation of the Syrian Arab Republic.

During his visit, the Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Rodrigo Malmierca underlined the importance of enhancing economic relations between the two countries and communicating with the Syrian chamber of commerce, companies and businessmen to discuss possibilities of cooperation between the two sides in this important sector.

Malmierca expressed his admiration for the Syrian pavilion and its contents, which included samples of some products, especially food, welcoming Syria’s participation in this important economic event.

For his part, the Syrian Ambassador to Cuba, Dr. Idris Mia, stressed the keenness of the parties concerned in Syria to participate in the exhibition, believing that the relations between the two countries and the two friendly peoples are deep and strong. He underlined the  importance of Syria’s participation in the exhibition in   strengthening economic and trade relations between the two sides.

Many ambassadors of accredited countries in Cuba, representatives of chambers of commerce and foreign companies participating in the exhibition in addition to  some journalists visited the exhibition.
