Syria participates in a coordination meeting for the Arab Reading Challenge in its seventh season in the UAE

Dubai (ST): With the participation of Syria, the coordination meeting was held today in Dubai for the seventh session of the Arab Reading Challenge initiative, which is being held by the United Arab Emirates.

The meeting that came after the end of the sixth session of the initiative and the crowning of the Arab Reading Challenge champion included preparations for the seventh season of the initiative, presenting the difficulties and the mechanism of work.

During the meeting, the general coordinator of the initiative in Syria, Ali Al-Abbas, presented the mechanism of work of the Ministry of Education during the participation in the sixth season, and the organization through an integrated work team to reach the title of the Arab Reading Challenge in its sixth season, in addition to presenting the positives and how to deliver the reading message to all Syrian students in all schools.

In a statement to news reporter, Al-Abbas referred to the Ministry of Education’s preparations to participate in the seventh season to reach the largest possible number of Syrian students participating in this initiative, and to facilitate their delivery to the largest possible number of books to increase knowledge and spread the culture of reading, indicating that it was agreed during the meeting to provide a large number of libraries in Syrian schools with a number of books before the end of the year.
