Syria participates in 2021 International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) in Russia

DAMASCUS, (ST)_With the participation of the Syrian Science Olympiad teams of Mathematics, competitions of 2021 International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) kicked off in Russia virtually on Monday. 
 
The Distinction and Creativity Agency said that the Syrian team is composed of 6 members, who will take part in the contest which conduct in one- exam center at the headquarters of Damascus-based Agency for two days, according to the Syrian News Agency (SANA).
 
The exams will be conducted in two rounds, each of them will last for 4 hours and 30 minutes, including 3 issues in a branch of mathematics of Combinatorial mathematics , Algebra and Geometry as 7 marks are allocated for each question, and the final result is calculated by the sum of the marks of the round exams.
