Syria participate in Special Olympics in Cairo

DAMASCUS, (ST) – With the participation of Syria, the 8thn Regional Special Olympics has kicked off in Cairo, Egypt. Approximately 666 athletes from 15 nations, vying for 14 sports are taking part in the said event.

The participating countries are as follows: Syria, Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Iran, Iraq, Qatar, Egypt and Jordan.
