The Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in the caretaker government, Mohsen Abdul Karim Ali, discussed with the Pakistani Ambassador to Damascus, Shahid Akhtar, and the accompanying delegation of Pakistani businessmen and traders, means of increasing trade exchange and joint cooperation between the two countries.
Minister Ali expressed the ministry’s keenness to overcome all difficulties and obstacles that hinder cooperation between Syria and Pakistan, and to provide facilities in this regard to serve the interests of the two peoples.
He indicated that the ministry is ready to study all ideas for cooperation resulting from these meetings between the two countries, especially the idea of exchanging products according to the barter system.
