Syria, Oman Discuss Strengthening Agricultural Cooperation  

Muscat (ST) – Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resource in the Sultanate of Oman Saud bin Hamoud bin Ahmed Alhabsi discussed with the Syrian Ambassador Oman, Dr. Idris Maya, means of strengthening cooperation relations and exchanging experiments in the field of agriculture between the two brotherly countries. 

During a meeting today, minister Alhabsi expressed his country’s readiness to provide expertise in the agricultural field, especially with regard to palm trees and dates production. 

For his part, ambassador Maya stressed the importance of following up on all the issues that were discussed during the meeting that took place in Muscat, on the 25th of last November, between the Ministers of Agriculture of the two countries.
