Syria Olympic football team participates in China international match

Damascus, (ST) – Syria’s Olympic football team will take part in a friendly match with China in preparation for the Asian finals to be held in the Thai capital Bangkok on the eighth of next month.


Our Olympic team will leave today for China to meet with Mali on the 8th of this month at 9:00 am and the Chinese team on the 11th of the same month at 1:30 pm and conclude their participation with the Tajik counterpart on the 14th of the same month at 21:00. 9 am.

Technical Director of Football Team, Coach Aiman al-Hakim said in a statement to SANA that the participation in the international tournament in China will be useful for our team in preparation for the Asian finals, pointing out that despite the strength of the second group we will play in the finals against Qatar on January 9 and against Japan in 12-1 and Saudi Arabia in 15-1. We are optimistic about providing a good standard and results that meet the aspirations of the Syrian public.

It is noteworthy that our Olympic team qualified for the Asian finals after receiving the best second place in the qualifiers after beating Kyrgyzstan 2-0 and the Kuwait team with the same result and a draw with the Jordanian team with a goal for the same.
