“Syria Mod” Exhibition in Beirut

Beirut, (ST) – Activities of the seventh session of the specialized exhibition for clothing “Syria Maude” were organized recently in Beirut with the participation of more than 100 Syrian and specialized clothing and textile companies.

The exhibition was organized by the Syrian Exporters’Association of Clothing and Textiles (SEACT) in cooperation with the Syrian Exporters’Federation, the Support and Development Association of Domestic Production and Exports and the Damascus Chamber of Industry.

The exhibition includes pavilions for women and men’s clothing, cotton and sports clothing in addition to children’s clothing, eastern embroideries, socks, knitwear and shipping and banks’ companies.

For his part, Secretary General of the Syrian- Lebanese Supreme Council Nasri al Khoury stressed that the battle in Syria is not only to eliminate terrorism but is the battle of the advancement of society economically, politically and socially, noting that this exhibition is the best proof that the Syrian people will be able to rebuild Syria and the preservation of its structure and its structure.

For his part, head of the Syrian Exporters’ Federation (SEF) Mohammed al Sawahsaid that his exhibition is a message to the whole world that Syria is capable of production, export and keep abreast of developments in all fields, pointing out that this exhibitionis developing through the increasing number of visitors and the size of the areas that occupied by exhibitors and traders from Iraq, Libya, Algeria and a number of countries.

Mr. al Sawah confirmed that this event comes within the framework of the SEF’s efforts to play a primary role in the marketing of Syrian exports, provide facilities for exporters and importers to achieve the objective of the exhibition, including the signing of contracts, supporting Syrian industry and enhancing the national economy.

It is worth mentioned that “Syria Maude” is one of the successful exhibitions in marketing Syrian product in the field of fashion and textile industries, production requirements and fabrics industry and contributes to signing of external contracts and deals.
