“Syria Mod” Exhibition for Clothing Opened in Beirut

Damascus, (ST) – Activities of the Specialist Clothing Exhibition and Accessories “Syria Mod”  will start today in Beirut with the participation of more than 100 companies specialized in clothing and fabric.

The three- day exhibition is organized by the Syrian Federation of Exporters (SFE), the Syrian Exporters Association of Clothing and Textiles, the Development and Promotion Authority of Exports(DPAE) , Damascus and Aleppo Chambers of  Industry. The Exhibition extends over an area of about 3,000 square meters. An exhibition of leather industry, plastic arts, exhibition of flowers and ornamental plants also will be held within exhibition’s activities.

The Director of the Development and Promotion Authority of Exports Ihab Ismandar said in a statement to local press that the Exhibition comes in the course of the DPAE and the SFE’s activities to promote the Syrian products under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade.

“The exhibition presents a new opportunity to Syrian producers and exporters working in the clothing and textile sector to meet with their clients and present their products and show the high quality of the Syrian industry, noting that the DPAE acts as a major supporter in the exhibition to achieve the desired end to the benefit of the exhibitors, participants and to export Syrian products.
