Syria, Lebanon to Boost joint Agricultural Trade Exchange

During his meeting with Lebanese Agriculture Minister Nizar Hani, Syrian Agriculture Minister Amjad Badr discussed various issues related to the cost of transporting Lebanese agricultural products in transit through Syrian territory to Arab countries.

They agreed on the necessity of reactivating the work of joint committees as soon as possible, which would contribute to enhancing agricultural trade exchange and technical cooperation between Syria and Lebanon.

It is noteworthy that this meeting took place against the backdrop of the international meeting for donors and agriculture ministers in the Near East and North Africa region, held at the CIHEAM Bari center in Bari, Italy.
