Syria, Lebanon discuss cooperation in transferring bodies of the victims of the boat sinking incident
Minister of Health Hasan Al-Ghabbash and his Lebanese counterpart Firas Al-Abyad, during a phone call on Saturday, discussed cooperation and coordination in transferring the survivors and the bodies of the victims of the boat sinking incident that took place yesterday off the Syrian coast in Tartous.
The date of the handing over the survivors will be specified based on medical reports on their health conditions, and the bodies of the victims will continue to be transferred in cooperation the Syrian emergency system, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and the Lebanese Red Cross, according to minister Al-Ghabbash.
Al-Ghabbash pointed out that the searching operation to find missing persons continues and the medical teams are completely prepared to provide services.
The minister clarified that the number of the victims of the boat sinking incident rose to 90.
