Syria, Jordan to enhance cooperation in the field of industry

Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply Yarub Qudah affirmed that his country is in constant contact with Syria to enhance cooperation between the two countries.

Al-Mamlaka TV quoted Qudah as saying during a dialogue session organized by the Engineering Business Forum yesterday: There are five sectoral committees working to enhance cooperation and ongoing coordination with Syria.

He noted that Jordanian exports to the country increased significantly during the first quarter of this year, and that work is continuing to make the Kingdom the gateway to Syria’s reconstruction.

Qudah pointed to the export opportunities that can be enhanced in the coming period, and to the potential benefits of reconstruction projects in Syria, as the Jordanian government has provided the appropriate environment for this in various sectors, especially engineering consultation
