Syria, Italy discuss Industrial Cooperation in Ceramics and Construction Materials

A delegation from the Italian company Mectiles Italia, specialized in ceramic manufacturing technologies, visited the Syrian Arab Republic and held an official meeting with the Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry to discuss avenues for joint cooperation and boosting industrial investments in the ceramics, tiles, and cement sectors.

 

The two sides discussed available opportunities to rehabilitate and modernize production lines in Syrian factories, particularly in light of the Italian company’s technical expertise in developing and recycling ceramic manufacturing equipment in line with the latest European standards.

 

The Deputy Minister of Economy emphasized the importance of attracting high-quality investments that contribute to reviving Syria’s industrial sector and creating job opportunities, welcoming the Italian interest in entering the Syrian market as a partner in the economic recovery phase.

 

For their part, representatives of Mectiles Italia expressed their appreciation for the warm reception and showed genuine interest in investing in Syria through joint production projects, with a focus on supporting local factories with the necessary technology and expertise to enhance the quality and competitiveness of national products.

 

This meeting comes within the framework of the government’s efforts to open new channels of cooperation with foreign companies and activate industrial partnerships in line with the country’s economic development priorities.
