Syria is the mainstay of the resistance axis, says the delegation of the Islamic National Conference

Beirut, (ST) – A delegation from the Islamic National Congress, during its visit to the headquarters of the Syrian embassy in Beirut today, affirmed that, Syria will achieve complete victory over its enemies. The delegation stressed that, Syria is the mainstay of the axis of resistance.

Members of the delegation, which includes party leaders, representatives, political and union figures from a number of Arab and Islamic countries, reviewed during their meeting with Syria’s Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdel Karim their recent visit to Syria and their meeting with President Bashar Al-Assad. They expressed their happiness for a deep vision of the challenges that Syria and the region are going through and the belief in resistance as a way to achieve victory.

The delegation members expressed their absolute confidence in Syria’s final victory in the face of the challenges it is facing. It stressed that, the war waged on Syria and the unjust siege imposed on it only increased the Syrian people’s steadfastness and adherence to national issues.

The delegation members considered that, the wide popular participation witnessed by the presidential elections in Syria recently constituted a referendum on the meanings of sovereignty, pride and dignity embodied by President Al-Assad.

The delegation members also praised the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in the face of the Israeli occupation and its crimes. They praised the main role that Syria plays in supporting the resistance fighters, Palestine issue and Arab rights.

Ambassador Abdul Karim affirmed, that Syria’s steadfastness showed Arab and international public opinion the falsity of the allegations that Syria’s enemies tried to market. He indicated that the Zionist, American and Western bets fell and Syria held out
