Syria is the gateway through which divisional plans stopped , says Lutfi

Cairo, (ST) – The General Coordinator of the Egyptian People’s Committee for Solidarity with the Syrian People, Hisham Lutfi condemned the continuous attacks by the Turkish regime forces on the Syrian territories and the official Arab and international silence regarding these violations.

Lutfi said in a statement to SANA correspondent in Cairo that the violations committed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan , his forces and mercenaries would not have occurred if they had not been compatible with Western agendas that fall within the framework of the plot targeting Syria for years. Erdogan is a key partner in that plot and today he completes what their mercenaries have done for years and are still doing , he added

Lutfi pointed out that Syria with its steadfast people and brave army is the first and only guardian of Arab soil, for it is confronting this Turkish aggression and terrorist organizations.

He said that “History will remember that Syria stood in the way of divisional plans of the region and the attempts to restore the despotic Ottoman Empire.”
