Syria is the Gate of Arab National Security
DAMASCUS,(ST)_ The Syrian People have excelled in embodying the best examples for sacrifices, H.E. President Bashar Al-Assad outlined.
Receiving a delegation comprising Arab figures participating in the Arab National Conference and the International Arab Forum for Justice for Palestine, President Assad added that Syria wouldn’t have been able to withstand for years in the face of the war imposed, had it not been for the sacrifices of its Army and the belief of the Syrians in their homeland and in their unity.
The standing challenges facing the Arab World necessitates the work for awakening awareness for Arabism as the identity and as the civilized framework including all, and not only as an ideology, added H.E. President Al-Assad, asserting the necessity for commitment to national thought and for the bolstering of national feeling in the face of division and elimination schemes drawn for the region.
Members of the delegation underscored necessity for standing by Syria in the face of what she is exposed to, hence the support for Syria means but the support for the Palestinian Cause and for the entire Arab Nation, given the fact that Syria is the gate of Arab National Security.
