Syria, Iraq Urge More Efforts to Restore Security, Stability to Region, Entire World

BAGHDAD, (ST) – Iraq’s Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Abadi and the Syrian Ambassador in Baghdad Sattam Jad’an al-Dandah have stressed the need to mobilize all efforts as to restore security and stability to the region and the entire world.

According to a statement by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, al-Abadi and al-Dandah held talks on boosting cooperation in different fields and on the latest regional and international developments.

 

The two sides affirmed that more efforts must be exerted to restore security to the Middle East and the entire world.

Al-Dandah told SANA correspondent in Baghdad that the meeting comes with the framework of joint consultation and coordination between the two countries which are facing serious regional and international challenges and heinous global terrorist war.

The Syrian Ambassador reiterated that countries hit by terrorism should continue consultations and joint action to confront the terrorist takfiri forces which keep committing crimes of killing, destruction and displacements against the people of these countries.
