Syria, Iraq to boost cooperation in transportation sector

BAGHDAD,(ST)_ Syria’s Ambassador in Baghdad Saddam Jad’aan Al-Dandah discussed on Wednesday with the Director of the General Company of Carrying out Projects in Iraqi Transportation Minister  Zaid Khalil Sha’lan ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation between Syria and Iraq and the company’s participation in rebuilding infrastructures in the transportation sector in Syria.
 
According to the Syrian News Agency (SANA), the two sides agreed on providing Syria with products to repair railways in Syria and to connect railways between Syria and Iraq.
 
Iraqi technical delegation will visit Damascus soon to sign agreements in this regard.
