Syria, Iran review cooperation in scientific and research affairs

TEHRAN, (ST)_ The Special Assistant to the Speaker of Iran’s Shura Council Hussein Amir Abdullahian discussed on Sunday with the  Dean of the Faculty of Law at Damascus University Haitham Al-Tas  ways of strengthening and developing cooperation in scientific, educational and research affairs.

The Syrian News Agency (SANA) quoted Abdullahian as saying that the awareness of Syrian youths and students and their stand against enemies’ plots were a key factor in preserving the independence and dignity of their country.

For his part, Al-Tas said that Syrian students were and still are standing by their country in confronting the conspiracy being hatched against it.

He called for exerting more efforts to develop cooperation between Syrian and Iranian universities.
