DAMASCUS, Dec.13, (ST)- The Minister of Health Hassan Al-Ghabbash discussed on Tuesday with the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular, Parliamentary, and Expatriates Affairs Alireza Bigdeli, and the accompanying delegation, ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the health sector.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the two sides discussed issues related to the situation of the Syrian and Iranian doctors and students in both countries.
Al-Ghabbash talked during the discussion about the situation of health sector and how much it was affected by the terrorist war on Syria and the inhumane blockade being imposed on it, noting that there are common points that can be used to develop work and serve the citizens in both countries.
For his part, Bigdeli talked about the importance of exchanging medical expertise between both countries and promoting medical tourism.
