Syria, Iran discuss cooperation in different development projects

The Syrian Ambassador to Iran Shafiq Dayyoub and Deputy Chief of Justice and Head of the State Property and Deeds Registration Organization in Iran Hassan Babaei discussed during a meeting on Tuesday means of cooperation in organizing and planning the maps of historical, cultural and religious places.

The two sides stressed the need to enhance cooperation in organizing, surveying, planning, documenting and mapping religious, historical and cultural places and in regulating this process in a way that serves the reconstruction process in Syria.

Babaei affirmed his country’s willingness to sign a memorandum of Understanding with the Syrian side in the fields of intellectual property, urban and rural surveys, description maps, company registration, real estate registry, holding training courses and transferring technology to the Syrian side.

The Syrian Ambassador, on his part, emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise in the field of registration and real estate which will open new horizons for further cooperation.

He pointed out that promoting scientific and technological research contributes to providing these vital domains with constructive plans that reflect positively on development projects and infrastructure in both countries.
