On his part Ansari asserted continuous consultation and coordination between the two countries within the critical circumstances in Syria and the region.

The Islamic Republic of Iran will continue supporting Syria in all domains,” Ansari said.

Intra-Syrian dialogue is the only way to solve crisis in Syria

Earlier, Ansar held a press conference in which he stressed that the only way to solve the crisis in Syria is the intra-Syrian dialogue, ruling out any military solution.

Regarding the US aggression on the Syrian Army positions in Deir Ezzor, Ansari said the attack  can’t be a mistake, noting that the aggression indicated that some parties insist on supporting terrorism.

He pointed out that any political solution to the crisis that is welcomed by the Syrian government will be welcomed by Iran, stressing that only the Syrian people have the right to decide their future away from foreign interference.

He affirmed Iran’s support for Syria in all domains, asserting that Iran is against the use of terrorist organizations to achieve political gains.
