“Syria, Homeland and Expatriates “joined Supporting Syrian Pound Campaign

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ “Syria Mother in homeland and expatriates ” which is based in the USA “, joined yesterday the “Syrian phoenix ” campaign in order to participate in supporting the Syrian pound,  through a financial deposit in the central bank to be followed by later deposits,  that serves the nation and supporting its economy.

On the objective of participating in this campaign, coordinator of children’s activities in the group, Yasmin Ahmed said in a statement to SANA, that based on the group’s principles of commitment to the homeland and its protection and construction, “we wanted to participate effectively in this historic event, in supporting the national economy.”

She pointed out that the group’s participation in this campaign will be in a financial deposit in the central bank of Syria, at an initial sum of USD 5 thousands with a subsequent increase during visits by some members of the group to the country during the next few months.

On the activities of the group inside Syria, the official responsible for the wounded of the and prosthetic. Firas Deeb said: “We made frequent visits to the families of martyrs and wounded in order to contribute to the installation of artificial limbs and rehabilitation for the wounded.”

The said group was founded in 2012 by a group of Syrian expatriates in the USA to be a back up and support for the Syrian people, humanly and socially.

Worthy mentioning that the “Syrian phoenix” campaign, which was launched by national expatriates since last Friday to support the national currency will continue, for several days amid a large turnout by Syrian expatriates abroad to support the national currency.

It will be followed by weekly interference announcement campaigns, by possible legal means in countries where expatriates exist.
