Syria has rich history attracting tourists, says Czech writer

Prague, (ST) – Czech writer and traveler Yolana Sedlackova stressed that, Syria has a rich history with diverse civilizations, and therefore it should be visited in order to see its tourist attractions.

Sedlachkova said in an article published today by the tourist magazine “Nass and Doul” that among the most important historical and tourist places in Syria is the town of Maaloula, which is built on the slopes of a mountain with a height of 1500 meters. It is perfectly harmonious combining the art of building, nature, ancient and modern heritage

Sedlachkova pointed out that the inhabitants of Maaloula have preserved to this day the Aramaic language, the language of Christ, which indicates pride in the culture and the civilization of the Syrians.
