Syria has provide free education and medical services to citizens despite terrorism, blockade and sanctions: former Indian ambassador
Despite terrorism, blockade and unfair unilateral coercive measures, Syria has continued to provide free education and medical services to citizens, Former Indian Ambassador to Syria Man Mohan Bhanot has stressed.
In an article published on Thursday in the Indian “Financial Express” Newspaper, Bhanot explained the situation in Syria during his three-year term of office which witnessed part of the terrorist war that has been waged on the country.
He pointed out that the Syrian people have the right to feel proud of their deep-rooted history and of their country’s being the cradle of civilizations.
“I noticed that the Syrians are proud of their history like us and they are right in believing that their country is the cradle of civilizations,” Bhanot added, noting the amazing state of coexistence and wonderful lifestyle in the Syrian society.
Bhanot pointed out that Syria has plenty of ancient treasures in its different historical sites.
