Syria has been true supporter of the Palestinian people: Nasrallah

Hezbollah Secretary General Hasan Nasrallah has reaffirmed that Syria, as a leadership and people, has been true supporter of the Palestinian people and it is still offering sacrifices to help the Palestinians.

In a televised statement on Saturday, Nasrallah said that all resistance forces in the region must unify their efforts, because resistance is the only hope for the Lebanese, the Palestinians and the Syrians to restore their usurped lands, their oil and their gas.

He warned of attempts to prevent Lebanon from extracting its gas and oil from the Mediterranean.

“Regarding the demarcation of the maritime borders with occupied Palestine, we will never allow any party to extract oil and gas from Karish field before Lebanon gets its rights to solve its economic and living crises. This is a red line,” Nasrallah clarified.

He stressed that the Israeli enemy’s threats will not affect the Lebanese resistance whose eyes and missiles are on Karish, the disputed gas field between Lebanon and the Zionist entity, warning that Israel will face a true trouble if it starts extraction in this field.

On forming the Lebanese government, Nasrallah expressed his hope that the Lebanese President and the Prime Minister-designate will be able to form it within the coming few days, stressing that responsibility requires all parties to work honestly to form this government as soon as possible so that the country doesn’t descend into chaos.
