Syria expresses its sympathy with the leadership and people of brotherly Algeria regarding forest fires
On August 18th, Syria expressed its deep regret over the forest fires that broke out in the Algerian provinces of El Tarf and Setif, and affirmed its fraternal sympathy with the leadership and people of sisterly Algeria over this casualty.
An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement: “The Syrian Arab Republic expresses its deep regret over the forest fires that erupted in the Algerian provinces of El Tarf and Setif, which claimed the lives of a number of citizens and injured others.”
The source added: “The Syrian Arab Republic, while appreciating the efforts made by the Algerian government to confront these fires, expresses its fraternal sympathy with the leadership and people of sisterly Algeria over this casualty, and extends its deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to the wounded.”
