DAMASCUS, Jul.27, (ST)-The Syrian Arab Republic has been elected as Deputy Secretary-General of the General Union of Arab Writers during the meeting of the Union’s Council in Damascus on the 26th and 27th of July.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the participants in the meeting unanimously voted for Muhammad Al-Hourani, head of the Union of Arab Writers in Syria, to occupy the position of Deputy Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Writers,
Yesterday, the two-day meeting of the General Union of Arab Writers Council kicked off at the Al-Assad National Library in Damascus under the title “Writers for Arabism” with the participation of delegations from 12 Arab countries.
