Syria, DPRK discuss ways of strengthening educational relations

DAMASCUS, March.23, (ST)-Syria and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Have discussed on Wednesday the ways of strengthening educational relations and exchanging experiences to contribute to consolidating the bilateral relations.
 
The discussion was held during a meeting between Assistant Minister of Education Abdul Hakim Al-Hammad and Chargé d’ affaires of DPRK Embassy in Damascus, Kim Hey Ryong.
 
Al-Hammad stressed that the ministry works on developing the educational process, and benefiting from the Korean expertise and its advanced educational system, as well as a mechanism for dealing with the People with Disabilities.
 
He indicated that the Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers is dedicated to teaching Arabic to diplomats and Korean and foreign communities.
 
For his part, Kim Hye Ryong expressed his country’s readiness to use its experiences in modernizing schools, institutes, universities and distance education schools, in addition to offering consultations and expertise to contribute to the restoration of schools in a way that enhances bilateral relations.
