Syria Determined to Liberate Its Lands from Terrorism Either Through Reconciliation or through Military Action: Soussan

DAMASCUS, (ST)- The Syrian State is determined to liberate the entire Syrian territory from terrorism either through reconciliation or through military action.

Answering journalists’ questions during a farewell ceremony held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in honor of the Russian Ambassador to Syria Alexander Kinshchak on the occasion of the end of his term in the country, Soussan said “the liberation of the entire Syrian territory from terrorism is a declared goal which the Syrian state is determined to achieve either through reconciliation process or through military action in case some parties insist on adopting the terrorist scheme”.

Regarding the Turkish regime’s policy, Soussan said that the one who analyzes the Turkish policy since the beginning of the crisis in Syria reaches the conclusion that all what Turkey is doing aims at saving its face and hiding its disappointment.”

He pointed out that any Turkish attempt to expand in the Syrian territory will result in the worst consequences on the Turkish regime, stressing that Syria is determined to defend its territories.
