Syria Destabilization Serves Zionist Agenda, Says Rafsanjani

Expediency Council Chairman Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said on Wednesday that Syria destabilization and equipping the terrorist groups fighting to disintegrate Syria serves the Zionist agenda, according to IRNA.

Ayatollah Rafsanjani made the remarks in a meeting with a group of people.

He expressed outrage at ‘very bitter and shocking’ human tragedy in Saudi Arabia and said no country, losing its pilgrims in the incident, is yet convinced with Saudi Arabia’s justifications.

He said that the Saudi government has the responsibility to guarantee safety and security of Hajj Pilgrims and that the Saudis’ blame game will not diminish their International Responsibility.

 

He said Muslim world thinkers and international communities should step in and form fact-finding committees in order not to let blocking of the channel of finding root causes of the human tragedy.

Otherwise, extremist and terrorist groups will come to speak with the language of weapons and intimidation, only thinking of massacre, said Ayatollah Rafsanjani.

Meanwhile, Ayatollah Rafsanjani expressed deep concern about Muslims’ killing each other in Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Libya and the other Muslim countries.
