Syria Declaration against Daesh, Extremism and Terrorism Forces

DAMASCUS, (ST)-Political and civil parties inside Syria on Monday signed the Syrian Declaration against Daesh, Extremism and Terrorism.

On this occasion, the signatories issued a statement stressing that despite their different views they are unanimous on complete rejection of the crimes and goals of the terrorist organization called Daesh (ISIL) which target the interests of the Syrian people and their aspirations to build a democratic state based on political pluralism and in which all the Syrians enjoy equality and justice.

 

“Besides being a terrorist organization, [Daesh] is an evil project aiming to fragment and undermine the Syrian society, the signatories said, reiterating their adherence to the Syrian identity and its ethnic and cultural diversity. They affirmed their commitment to national sovereignty and their rejection of any foreign interference in the country.

The political and civil parties which signed the declaration pointed out that the way out of the crisis in Syria is the political solution which leads to forming a government that respects the Syrians’ free will and that comprises all parties, pointing out that this government contributes to creating a wider popular base to confront the dangers threatening the country foremost of which is Daesh.

The declaration was signed by, the Democratic National Action Commission in Syria, the Syrian Action Commission, the Coalition of Democratic National Forces, The Third Party for Syria, the Syrian Social Nationalist opposition Party, New Syria Party and the Palestinian Democratic Party, in addition to independent personalities, men of religion, lawyers, journalists and members of the Commerce Chamber.
