Syria Continues Fighting Terrorism – Interior Minister

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ Interior Minister Maj. Gen. Mohammed al-Shaar, also  Chairman of the Parties Affairs Committee  stressed in a meeting with  members of the  Arab Democratic  solidarity party’ Political Bureau  that political parties are  designed to confirm national integration and ensure  the country ‘s political, cultural, social and economic development .

He stressed the committee ‘s care  on the parties continued  performance of national  functions based on legal rules and regulations , consistent with the law of parties to enhance confidence entrusted by people in these parties. 

The Minister noted the achievements  of the army and  Internal Security Forces and competent authorities against  terrorism, which is a  coalition between the armed Takfiri  terrorist organizations and  Zionist enemy manifested  in the Israeli attack of  sites in Syria, stressing that Syria is steadfast and persistent in counter-terrorism efforts of the  army and Syrian people ‘s loyalty to the leadership until victory is achieved.

The Committee reviewed regulatory issues and problems related to the work of the  Arab Democratic Solidarity Party and addressed  observations on its performance to settle conditions according to enforced laws and regulations  to play its due  role in political life. 

Worthy mentioning,  the Arab Democratic Solidarity Party is licensed under the Political Parties Law No. 100 of  2011.
