Syria Condemns US Decision to Withdraw from Iran Nuclear Deal

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Syria has strongly condemned the decision of the US President Donald Trump to withdraw from the Iranian nuclear deal, affirming that this decision again proves the United States’ non-compliance with its commitments to international treaties, a source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said on Tuesday.

According to the source, the international wide condemnation of the US decision proved the isolation of the United States and its wrong policy which would increase tension in the world.

The Syrian Arab Republic renews its full solidarity with the leadership, government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and stresses its confidence that Iran will surpass the repercussions of the aggressive stance of the American administration which poses a threat to peace and stability in the region and the entire world, the source said.
