Syria condemns the terrorist attacks on a bus in the Kabajib area and on fuel tankers and civilian cars on the Salamiyah- Ithria road

On January 4th,Syria condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attacks that targeted a bus in the Kabajib area, fuel tankers and civilian cars on the Salamiyah-Ithria road, which killed a number of civilians and military personnel  and wounded others.

“The Syrian Arab Republic condemns in the strongest terms the cowardly terrorist attacks that targeted a bus in the Kabajib area on the road between Palmyra and Deir Ezzor, as well as fuel tanks and civilian cars on the Salamiyah-Ithria road,” an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement.

The source added that these treacherous terrorist attacks that coincide with the repeated Israeli attacks on the Syrian territories once again demonstrate the link between the terrorist groups, the usurper occupation entity and the sponsors of terrorism from the United States, the West and the Turkish regime, which aim to prolong the crisis in Syria.

The source added: “The Syrian people and their brave army, who have written the epics of steadfastness in the battles of honor against terrorism and its supporters, are stronger and more determined to confront the war on Syria in its various forms, and all attempts to revive the hostile projects will fail and we will preserve the sovereignty and unity of Syria and its land and people and its independent national decision.”
