Syria condemns the deployment of US and NATO troops to Russia’s borders

DAMASCUS, (ST)_Syria has asserted that the deployment of US and NATO troops to Russia’s borders poses a threat to international peace and security.

A source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said on Sunday that these US escalation steps depict the US blatant intervention in other countries’ internal affairs with the aim of imposing its hegemony over the world.

It added that Syria rejects the US reckless policy in international relations and expresses its solidarity with Russia and with all measures to be adopted by Moscow to preserve its national security and stability in the region and in the world as whole.
