Syria condemns Zionist Massacres against the Palestinians, Calls on UNSC to Stop the Aggression that threatens Region Peace and Security

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that “Israel” has escalated its brutal aggression against the Palestinian people, when the Israeli government allowed the Israeli settlers gangs the kidnapping of one Palestinian child and burning him alive.

The source added in a statement issued Tuesday that “Israel” has completed this crime, in a massacre in which fifteen Palestinians were killed in a brutal air attack against civilians and their property in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially in Gaza and in arresting  hundreds of innocent Palestinians in a bloody campaign contradicting with “Israel” obligations as an occupying force in violation of the Geneva Conventions, including the Fourth Geneva Convention which regards these Israeli crimes as war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The source added that Syria condemns these Israeli massacres and practices and the unjustified silence of the UN Security Council and the so-called Arab League concerning these ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people and demands the UNSC and the international community to stop the Israeli aggression, which threatens peace and security in the region.

The source continued that as Syria expresses stand by the Palestinian people and pride in their challenge of the Israeli crimes, it extends deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs and the wounded, confirming to the people in the occupied Palestine territories and the Golan Heights, continued firm stances, despite the difficult circumstances resulting from aggression and terrorism, by Western circles and “Israel” and their agents in Syria and the region, who are also the enemies of the Palestinian people in their legitimate struggle to establish their independent state on their own land with Jerusalem as its capital.
