Syria Condemns Israeli acts of Aggression on its Territory

Syria has strongly condemned the recent Israeli attacks on Daraa, asserting that the continuation of these acts of aggression on Syrian territory poses a direct threat to regional and international security.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement today: “the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Syrian Arab Republic condemns in the strongest terms the recent Israeli airstrikes on Daraa on March 17, 2025, which resulted in the killing of Syrian citizens and the injury of 19 others.”
The ministry noted that this aggressive act is part of a campaign waged by “Israel” against the Syrian people and stability in the country.

The ministry emphasized that the ongoing Israeli aggressions on Syrian territory not only constitute a violation of international law but also represent a direct threat to regional and international security.

The ministry pointed out that these deliberate attacks, carried out without any deterrent, reveal Israel’s complete disregard for international laws and norms under pretexts that no longer hold any credibility.

Syria called on the United Nations, the Security Council and all concerned international bodies to take immediate action to put an end to these unlawful actions and to implement the 1974 agreement.
