Syria condemns Incitement campaigns launched by UK and EU regarding situation in Daraa province

DAMASCUS,(ST)_Syria has affirmed that the hypocrisy of the British government and the European Union and their incitement campaigns regarding the situation in Daraa province are overt and failed attempts to  raise the morale of terrorist groups in the province.

A source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said on Thursday that Syrian Arab Republic condemns the campaigns of incitement and hypocrisy made by the British government and the EU regarding the situation in Daraa province, stressing that these campaigns come within the framework of the hostile policy of UK and EU towards Syria and their support for terrorism.

The source asserted that the Syrian state is keen on dealing with the situation in the southern region through dialogue and not pushing towards confrontations that could harm innocents. It underlined that the terrorist groups torpedo any agreement and fuel the situation in the region upon orders of their masters.

“Those false campaigns and fabrications will not prevent us from combating terrorism, liberating lands and restoring security and stability to the whole country,” the source added.
