Syria completely rejects French Foreign Ministry’s claims about the situation in Syria’s southern region: Foreign Ministry

 In continuation of its hateful colonialist legacy, the French regime is still providing financial and media support for the terrorists, gunmen and separatists in Syria in violation of all the Security Council resolutions which call for preserving Syria’s sovereignty, independence, national unity and territorial integrity, a source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said on Saturday.

The source was commenting on yesterday’s French Foreign Ministry’s statement which contained lies about the situation in Syria.

Syria completely rejects the claims included in the French Foreign Ministry’s statement and stresses that the statement is based on lies, hypocrisy and support for terrorism, the source said.

 “Syria has exercised the highest degree of self-restraint as regards to the situation in Syria’s southern region and it didn’t resort to violence contrary to what the French foreign ministry claimed, the source affirmed.

 Syria stresses that it is the most keen on the interests of the Syrian people, on the stability of the country and on solving any internal problem through dialogue, the source added.

The source concluded by saying that the French statements and stances, which are full of misinformation, hypocrisy and falsification, will receive nothing but the contempt of the Syrian people and their only place is the trash.
