Syria: China’s assistance during the Corona pandemic has contributed to reducing infections

Syria has affirmed the importance of the assistance provided by China to Syria and the world countries during the Corona pandemic, as it contributed to reducing infections and enhancing means of treatment, hailing the measures taken by the Chinese government in dealing with this pandemic.

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement today: Syria commends the recent measures taken by the Chinese government in dealing with the Covid 19 pandemic. Syria is surprised by the politicized measures taken by some Western countries towards those arriving from China, which amount to discrimination.

The Ministry added: Syria thanks the friendly Chinese government for the generous assistance Beijing has provided during the pandemic to Syria and to all countries of the world, which contributed to reducing infections, as China provided the countries of the world with vaccines, medicines and means of treatment.
