Syria, China sign Media cooperation agreement

Beijing, (ST) – Syria and China signed a media cooperation agreement, which was signed on the Syrian side by Minister of Information Boutros Al-Hallaq and on the Chinese side by the Minister of the Chinese National Radio and Television Administration, Cao Shumin.

The agreement includes cooperation in radio and television technology, enhancing the application of new technologies, exchanging and distributing programs and news, and logistical support for media teams in the two countries.

The cooperation in governing the administrative policies of media institutions was also agreed on.
